The Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) said on Sunday 141,000 metric tonnes of commercial goods were transported through the country’s railroads in the past one week.
In a statement, ARA said 105,562 tonnes of trade goods were transported via Hairatan port and 34,011 tonnes through Torghundai.
Another 1,475 tonnes of items were transported via Aqina port.
Last week, the total goods transportation included 9,637 tonnes of exports — mostly dried fruits, the ARA statement concluded.
