On Wednesday, November 15, at the Government Media and Information Center, with the presence of deputy PM and officials from Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat and Afghan Invest Company, signed the electricity project from Shiberghan to Alwan Desert.
The Deputy PM, Abdul Ghani Barader, during the signing agreements between Da Afghanistan Breshna and Afghan Invest Companies, emphasized the importance of industrial development for the progress of the nation.
He noted that since the IEA came to power, there has been significant growth in the industrial sector, and the IEA is committed to providing the environment for further industrial growth.
Barader also highlighted the crucial role of electricity in industrial development and assured that efforts are being made to meet the electricity needs of industries.
He announced the signing of an electricity project from Shiberghan to Alwan Desert with an Afghan domestic Invest company, which is expected to boost industrial growth and contribute millions of dollars annually to the government treasury by reducing the cost of imported electricity.
Meanwhile, officials of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat stated that the total cost of the agreement for the transportation electricity line of 500 kw from Shiberghan to Alwan Desert is 36198761 dollars, and it will be implemented within 2 years.
Based on the information, the capacity of the electricity transportation line is 1000 megawatts, which will transport electricity from Turkmenistan to the Alwan Desert substation.
Additionally, officials of the Afghan Invest Company promised to complete the implementation within the specified period.
