Acting Minister of the Interior, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, met with a delegation of scholars from the International Union of Muslim Scholars to promote unity among Muslims.
He expressed solidarity with Palestinian Muslims and hope for the liberation of Palestine through their jihad and resistance. Haqqani highlighted the success of the Afghan jihad and its role in achieving economic stability and reconstruction.
The delegation praised the Afghan jihad as a historic conquest for the Islamic world and called for global support for oppressed peoples.
