Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), arrived in Mashhad, Khorasan Rizvi Province, accompanied by his delegation. They received a warm welcome from Mr. Nazari, the governor of the province.
During the meeting, discussions took place regarding the enhancement of trade, transit, railways, and agriculture sectors between the two countries. Both sides emphasized the importance of utilizing existing opportunities to foster comprehensive relations. Additionally, there was a commitment to facilitate and increase exports and imports while addressing the concerns of businessmen.
The governor of the province expressed gratitude and highlighted the significance and positive impact of FM Muttaqi’s visit to Iran, particularly to Mashhad.
In conclusion, FM Muttaqi thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its hospitality and expressed hope for cooperation and improved treatment towards Afghan refugees and businessmen residing in Mashhad.
