Mawlawi Zabiullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, commented on the Chinese president’s acceptance of the credentials of the Islamic Emirate’s ambassador, affirming that Beijing has officially initiated engagement with the current government.
In an interview, Mr. Mujahid expressed his appreciation for China’s action, stating that China, like other countries, has recognized the government of Afghanistan.
He further emphasized that contrary to popular beliefs, the Islamic Emirate is achieving daily progress and gaining international attention. Notably, Chinese President Xi Jinping held a special ceremony where he accepted the credentials of Mawlawii Asadullah “Bilal Karimi” as the special representative and ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in China
