The Acting Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW), Abdul Latif Mansoor, said that for the prevention of vulnerability to drought in the country, nearly 100 water small dams have been planned to be constructed to strengthen the underground water.
Abdul Latif Mansoor said that several dams have been inaugurated and some more are being constructed.
The acting Minister also said that with the construction of these projects, the lack of water will be addressed. Before this, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development announced the commencement of 426 Afs worth of projects involving small dams in 13 provinces
