Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, engaged in discussions with highly skilled Afghan doctors and specialists residing abroad.
During the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the country’s overall security situation and noted the keen interest of numerous Afghan doctors abroad to return and contribute to Afghanistan’s healthcare sector. Additionally, they emphasized their optimism in delivering essential healthcare services to the nation’s citizens across various levels of need, including addressing challenging medical conditions within Afghanistan, with the support of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA).
Referring to the urgent need to enhance the capacity of doctors and specialists and to establish standardized hospitals across the country, they urged the leadership of the IEA to prioritize the provision of advanced medical equipment to hospitals and health centers, as well as the creation of an extensive and standardized healthcare system that enables all specialists and doctors to utilize their skills and knowledge effectively.
Following this, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, extended a warm welcome to doctors and specialists, emphasizing the urgent need for improving Afghanistan’s healthcare sector through collaborative efforts with doctors and specialists. Furthermore, the Deputy PM highlighted the IEA’s strong commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare services, ensuring adequate equipment in hospitals and clinics, and enhancing the capacities of doctors and specialists. He emphasized that the IEA would spare no effort in this regard.
