The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, engaged in discussions with a number of national traders.
During the meeting, the national businessmen praised the environment for ensuring security for both the body and financial aspects of traders and investors. They said that as a result of the development of an economic environment and the provision of favorable conditions for both business and investment in Afghanistan, there has been an initiation of economic activities in various sectors by the both domestic and foreign investors and businessmen, which is considered a good opportunity for the Afghan nation.
Moreover, alongside providing economic plans that they are set to implement in the country, they urged the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) to cooperate with them regarding creating necessary facilities.
In response, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, warmly welcomed the national traders and reaffirmed IEA’s commitment to ensuring security, improving the business and investment environment, and undertaking major and minor projects aimed at creating employment opportunities and promoting social welfare without interruption.
Additionally, regarding their suggestions, the Deputy PM stated that the IEA welcomes all investors in Afghanistan and takes practical actions to establish any kinds of facilitations for traders and investors. He also urged all traders and investors, both domestic and foreign, to invest in Afghanistan in various areas, including mine extraction, electricity production, education and healthcare.
