The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, engaged in discussions with the instructors of Darul Uloom Arabi Kabul.
During the meeting, Mufti Hamdullah Noomani spoke on behalf of others and shared information about function, activities and plans of this Darul Uloom with the Deputy PM. He added that Afghanistan, as an independent Islamic country needs students to study simultaneously in both Islamic and modern educations. He urged the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to pay serious attention to this matter, as well as to the development of education quality.
In response, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, extended a welcome and emphasized the importance of education as the foundation for the country’s development. He added that Ulama and instructors of both religious and modern schools have a heavy duty in educating the country’s children. He said that Ulama and instructors should strive to educate the students with Islamic spirit and patriotism.
