At the outset, scholars and influential figures of Shia expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Islamic Emirate in ensuring nationwide security. They highlighted that respective departments consistently cooperate with them and address their challenges, adding that Afghanistan, post-war, is stabilizing and strengthening the Islamic system. Additionally, they pledged full cooperation of their people with the Islamic Emirate.
Furthermore, Shia scholars and influential figures discussed better holding the celebration of the Ashura ceremony and ensuring its security. They shared their suggestions in this regard with the Deputy Prime Minister.
Subsequently, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, welcomed them and stressed that all Afghans have equal rights in the Islamic system. He assured that security departments are prepared to ensure the security of the Ashura ceremony and nobody should concern about it.
