The Deputy PM for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, met with several representatives of the Trade Union of Kabul province.
During the meeting, the representatives thanked him for addressing their challenges and suggestions. They added that close ties between authorities and traders have resulted in solving problems that Afghan traders have faced for many decades. Additionally, they mentioned that their daily duties have improved, expressing that the investment level is strengthening and the value of their properties is appropriate.
Furthermore, they stated that over the last two years, relations and coordination between businessmen and related departments, alongside growing trade, have paved the way for foreign investment in the country. They also considered the reduction in tax to be a good support for trade.
They shared suggestions regarding coordination with respective departments in Kabul city and better implementation of several construction projects with the Deputy PM.
In response, the Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, called supporting traders the responsibility and priority of the Islamic system. He added that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate pays special attention to collaboration with traders and emphasized that the government’s door is open to address their challenges in a timely manner.
Additionally, the Deputy PM stated that significant steps will be taken to enhance coordination between respective departments in Kabul and traders.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the members and leadership of the Trade Union of Kabul province awarded an appreciation certificate to the Deputy PM and praised his cooperation.
