The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, held a meeting with the President of Afghanistan International Bank (AIB), Mr. Alhaj Ibrahim Mohib.
During the meeting, Mr. Mohib, the President of AIB, provided information on the services, activities and plans of AIB to the Deputy PM. He added that AIB’s activities are proceeding normally to provide banking services to fellow citizens. He also mentioned that AIB officials are considering investments in various fields, including health, production of construction materials and hospitality.
Furthermore, Mr. Mohib emphasized that AIB offers essential banking services to both domestic and international companies.
In response, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, expressed satisfaction with the meeting and emphasized the vital role of banks, especially private banks, in the development and enhancement of the country.
He stated that the Islamic Emirate supports the private sector and provides necessary facilitation.
