The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, met with the Governor of Kunar province, Mawlawi Qudratullah Abu Hamzah.
During the meeting, Governor Mawlawi Qudratullah Abu Hamzah shared information about the social, economic, security and local government situation of the province with the Deputy PM. He stated that local officials and Mujaheddin continuously strive to ensure security and people’s welfare and will spare no effort in this regard. Moreover, he stressed that local authorities of the Islamic Emirate try to protect forest of the province, provide services to expelled immigrants from neighboring countries and address their challenges.
He further urged the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to pay serious attention to launching development projects, constructing both religious and modern schools and establishing health centers.
In response, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, welcomed the Governor and emphasized that ensuring security and peace across the country, as well as providing services to people in various fields are the responsibilities and commitments of the Islamic Emirate. He added that local officials should made more effort in addressing people’s challenges and promoting social welfare.
He also stated that the Islamic Emirate will consider the suggestions provided within the scope of available resources.
