The coordination meeting held at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) between the leadership of GMIC and the editors-in-chief of both state and private media. The aim was to improve the coverage of the upcoming program titled ‘Explaining Program on One-Year Accomplishments of Emirati Departments’.
During the meeting, Mawlawi Naeemulhaq Haqqani Herati, the Director of GMIC, welcomed the participants and thanked them for their participation and cooperation in different conferences organized by GMIC. He further stated that the purpose of the today’s meeting is that they share their suggestions and comments for better coverage of the forthcoming program.
Moreover, the director mentioned that they are organizing such a program to help reporters easily obtain real information. Therefore, he requested the editors-in-chief of the media to participate actively and share real information with the public.
Likewise, the editors-in-chief of the media shared their suggestions and opinions with the GMIC leadership, pledging full cooperation to better cover the program.
