Today, at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), an appreciation ceremony was held to appreciate excellent students of the Kankor Exam. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking government officials, religious scholars, university lecturers and family members of the top students.
Welcoming the guests to the ceremony, Sheikh Abdul Baqqi Haqqani, the Director of the National Examination Authority, emphasized that after ensuring overall security in the country, both modern and religious educational opportunities have been provided for youths and the students should take advantage of the provided opportunities. He further stated that previous governments kept students away from Islamic studies in schools and universities, promoting non-Islamic and non-Afghan ideas, which led the people to stand with occupiers.
Sheikh Haqqani also mentioned that now, Alhamdulillah, the distance between modern and religious schools has ended. Non-Islamic and non-Afghan ideas have been prohibited in educational institutions and all Afghan students are now educated based on Islamic principles. Additionally, he said that I make a promise to you students that the system supports you and provides all types of educational opportunities. Therefore, you should acknowledge your responsibilities and utilize these opportunities to develop and prosper the country.
Moreover, he emphasized that the Islamic Emirate is committed to developing both modern and religious schools as well as universities to eradicate the chance of occupation in the country.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the top 10 successful students of the Kankor Exam, along with trophies.
