The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, attended and delivered remarks at the inauguration of the Mir Abdul Karim Agha Mosque in the 10th district of Kabul province.
At the beginning of his speech, the Deputy PM expressed appreciation for the financial supporters of the mosque as well as their coordinators, adding that the builders of mosques hold a high status in Islam.
Moreover, he emphasized that with the reestablishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, prosperity has grown rapidly, with many infrastructure projects and dozens of mosques being constructed annually by the Islamic Emirate and the people. He also stated that the Islamic system gives special attention to the protection and expansion of its values, striving to make Afghanistan self-sufficient through economic development and growth. He highlighted that the Islamic Emirate seeks positive engagement and the expansion of relations with all countries.
In his concluding remarks, the Deputy PM underscored that the Islamic Emirate is responsible for the defense and protection of all Afghans, the national sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the country. He also emphasized that the Islamic Emirate maintains good relations with many countries based on its active foreign policy. Addressing the local residents, he encouraged them to perform their prayers in congregation and engage in beneficial activities.
