Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund: Religious Scholars Should Instill in the People, Alongside Religious Obligations, the Spirit of Safeguarding the Islamic System and National Interests

The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, attended the turban-tying (graduation) ceremony of Jamia Fath al-Uloom Kabul today, December 17, 2025. He stated that madrasas are the sacred foundations of religious knowledge, jihad, Prophetic morals, spiritual and intellectual training, and the Islamic movement in Islamic societies. He called on respected scholars to soften the language of sermons and the pulpit and, alongside religious obligations, to instill in the people the spirit of safeguarding the Islamic system and national interests.

Mujahid: One Billion AFN Allocated by the Prime Minister’s Office for Immediate Relief to Earthquake Victims

Mujahid further announced that, following the instructions of the Prime Minister, a special committee has been established under the chairmanship of the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, with the participation of officials from relevant agencies, to ensure an organized and effective response to the disaster.
