Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, conducted an inspection of the Salang highway reconstruction project on October 30th.
During this visit, he was accompanied by Mullah Mohammad Issa Sani, the Acting Minister of the MOPW.

Currently, two different construction and road development companies have been engaged in the fundamental repair and reconstruction of this 80-kilometer road.
An impressive 80 percent of the work has already been accomplished, and it has been decided that the pending tasks will be swiftly concluded, allowing a portion of this significant project to be made available for public use.
