The IEA’s deputy PM for administrative affairs and the chairman of the High Commission Established to Solve the Problems of the Afghan immigrants, Honorable Mowlavi Abdul salaam Hanafi, with a top delegation, which includes Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaj Khalil Rahman Haqqani, Acting Minister of Refugee and Repatriation, and Mowlavi Abdul Qadir Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Finance, paid a visit to Torkham in Nangarhar province, close to the imaginary line, and closely met with Afghan immigrants who were forcibly expelled by the Pakistan Government against all norms, good neighborliness and human emotion and examined closely their problems.
Mowlavi Abdul Salaam Hanafi assured them that within the scope of facilities the IEA will provide good facilities and services.
Additionally, the IEA’s deputy PM for administrative affairs, due to providing better services and facilities to our immigrant’s brother and sister, conducted a detailed meeting with the governor of Nangahar, Mullah Mohammad Naeem Akhund, and local officials and the regulators of immigrant affairs.
Honorable Hanafi, ordered the authorities to establish two temporary camps urgently, one near Torkham town and the second in Dega area of Lalpor district. And he obligated the relevant officials to make arrangements for the preparation of tents, water, food, subsistence, and all the other basic health needs in the two camps.
Also, the Acting Minister of Transportation and Aviation, and the chairman of the Transfer Committee, Honorable Mullah Hamidullah Akhundzada, and the commander of the movements of the Ministry of National Defense are present in the area right now to transfer as soon as possible those immigrants who are waiting near the crossing to the camps.
Simultaneously, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, and the chairman of the public awareness committee, also held a meeting with media and press authorities in connection with public awareness, and emphasized that very effective steps should be taken in this field till the crisis of forced deportation of immigrants could be managed in a better way.
Notable, that all the committees of the High Commission are in the process to complete and manage their affairs, and it is wished that they will commence their services in all sectors urgently all over the country.
