The meeting was chaired by the Director of Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) attended by the leadership and members of the Afghan Independent Journalists Association.
Strengthening of bilateral relations and collaboration and facilitating access of journalists to accurate and on time information were the key topics discussed during the meeting.
Mawlavi Naeemulhaq Haqqani, the director of GMIC considered the role of media crucial in raising awareness and strengthening ties between government and the public and called on media to disseminate on time and accurate information.
