Islamic Emirate officials say UNAMA has not been successful in fulfilling its mission so far and they hope that it focuses on the key challenges of Afghanistan.
“UNAMA shouldn’t always look at the issues of Afghanistan from a negative point of view, they should take into consideration issues in which we have made progress; we have achievements; we have security and stability, and that the people of Afghanistan are in a good economic condition compared to the past. UNAMA should be a partner of Afghanistan, not always be critical and always use their channel for preparing propaganda,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, IEA spokesman. “So, we ask UNAMA to change its policy regarding Afghanistan and cooperate with Afghanistan more effectively,” he added.
