Coinciding with the start of the 1403 academic year, the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVET) announced the signing of an agreement with China aimed at establishing a Kabul-Beijing joint institute.
Ghulam Haidar Shahamat, acting head of TVET, said that the creation of this institute will provide more job opportunities for the youth.
Meanwhile, Abdul Baqi Haqqani, the head of the National Examination Authority, called science one of the country’s essential needs and said that job opportunities should also be made available for the youth alongside education. Khalil Rahman Haqqani, the acting minister of Refugees and Repatriation, also emphasized the importance of learning modern and religious sciences in the country and called for the creation of educational opportunities for returnees in the country.
