The charge d’affaires of Afghanistan’s embassy in Islamabad, Sardar Ahmad Shakib, said that he has discussed Pakistan’s recent aerial attacks, the recent clashes along the Durand Line, and the political and trade challenges between Kabul and Islamabad with Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan.
Sardar Ahmad Shakib said that in the meeting with Asif Ali Durrani, it was agreed that these attacks would not be repeated in the future.
According to Shakib, a trade delegation is expected to travel from Pakistan to Afghanistan on the 25th of March. Hamdullah Fetrat, the deputy spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, regarding this meeting, said: “The charge d’affaires of the Islamic Emirate’s embassy in Islamabad, Mawlawi Sardar Ahmad Shakib, met with Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan. Recent developments between Pakistan and Afghanistan were discussed in the meeting. The Pakistani side stated that they want to resolve issues through understanding and dialogue. Similarly, the charge d’affaires of the Islamic Emirate’s embassy stated that the Islamic Emirate wants to resolve issues through understanding and dialogue.”
