A one-day capacity building workshop for government department journalists and heads of publication departments was conducted at GMIC (Government Media and Information Center) with the aim of enhancing the flow of information, improving publication activities and better reflecting the achievements of various Emirati departments. The workshop was attended by 70 individuals from different government departments.
In his opening address, Mawlawi Naeemulhaq Haqqani Herati, Director of GMIC, emphasized the importance of enhancing the capabilities of officials in publication departments to improve publication activities and ensure a more effective reflection of Emirati department accomplishments. He urged all participants to apply the knowledge gained practically.
Throughout the workshop, Hashmatullah Naseri, Deputy of GMIC provided comprehensive training covering both theoretical and practical skills to all participants.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Qari Abdul Satar Sayeed, Deputy Director General of Public and Strategic Affairs, addressed the gathering. He highlighted that following the end of a 20-year occupation, adversaries have initiated the propaganda war against the system, spreading misinformation and hiding the achievements of the Islamic Emirate.
Furthermore, Qari Abdul Satar Sayeed emphasized that significant progress has been made across all sectors in the past three years, underscoring the importance of informing the public of these efforts. He urged all participants to strive continuously to enhance publication activities and reflect achievements.
The workshop concluded with a closing prayer and the distribution of certificates to all participants.
