The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir met with the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, Honorable Khalifa Serajuddin Haqqani, and the Director-General of Intelligence, Honorable Mawlawi Abdulhaq Wasiq.
During the session, as they discussed the situations in Afghanistan and the region, Mr. Khalifa Haqqani and Mr. Mawlawi Wasiq emphasized the importance of their recent trips to the United Arab Emirates and their meetings with its officials in order to expansion of ties, stating a lot of countries want to expand ties with the Islamic Emirate.
They also emphasized their efforts towards ensuring permanent security, stating better cooperation between departments and security comprehensive plan, has provided sure security for public.
In response, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, emphasized the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to fostering positive engagements globally. He stated that, in accordance with comprehensive political policies, the Islamic Emirate seeks to interact and expand ties with all countries. He added that as a result of improved engagement, ties of the Islamic Emirate are increasing, indicating political progress of the Islamic system.
In conclusion, the Deputy Prime Minister provided necessary guidance on the respective issues.
