The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, met with the Deputy Governor of Kunduz province, Mawlawi Habib Rahman Sohib, along with Qari Shafiqullah Wasiq, the Director of the 217 Omari Army Corps and numerous Mujaheddin.
During the meeting, initially Mawlawi Habib Rahman Sohib, the Deputy Governor of Kunduz province and the Director of the 217 Omari Army Corps spoke and shed light on the social and economic situation in the province with the Deputy PM. They added that authorities and Mujaheddin continuously strive to address the people’s challenges and provide services to them, the population of this province cooperates with local officials as well.
Referring to the achievements and functions of the Islamic Emirate across various fields, they urged to pay special attention to the situation of Mujaheddin, education, health, restoring transportation routes and implementing development projects in this province.
In response, the Deputy PM for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, welcomed them and acknowledged the role of the Afghan nation, particularly the Ulama and Mujaheddin of Kunduz province, in the Jihad and struggles against occupants. He asserted that providing services to citizens, launching projects aimed at country prosperity, and addressing people’s challenges are duties and responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate, which it strives to fulfill with full effort.
In conclusion, regarding the suggestions provided, the Deputy PM stated that the Islamic Emirate, within its available scope, would address and take action steps.
