The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, along with the Acting Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadim, met with the presidents of universities and scientific institutions.
During the meeting, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadim, stated that such meetings aim to strengthen the education system, coordinate scientific institutions, and exchange views. He emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education no longer has imaginary students and has eradicated administrative corruption. Currently, the Ministry focuses on educating professionals and experts to enhance the system to meet societal needs.
Additionally, the Deputy PM welcomed everyone and highlighted that the Islamic Emirate has initiated activities for the prosperity of the country and the enhancement of educational institutions. He stressed that Afghanistan requires professional and expert cadres, which the country’s universities can now provide.
He mentioned that the Islamic Emirate has allocated a sufficient budget to higher education institutions for the fundamental reconstruction of universities and educational departments, aiming to improve their quality with international standards. Moreover, he noted that the Islamic Emirate is actively engaging with political representatives in 40 different countries, with plans to expand this engagement further in the near future.
In conclusion, the Deputy PM urged presidents of universities to maintain good relationships with teachers and students, and to hold reform meetings, among other issues, to convey the message of the Islamic Emirate.
