The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, held discussions with the Governor of Badghis province, Mawlawi Abdul Samad Jawid.
During the session, Governor Mawlawi Abdul Samad Jawid shared information about the social, economic, security and local government situation of the province. Additionally, he provided information about the functions and activities of the province to the Deputy Prime Minister.
He mentioned that overall security is ensured in the province and that local officials and the Mujaheddin of the Islamic Emirate are striving to establish facilities and address challenges. Highlighting the achievements of the Islamic Emirate and its development programs across various aspects, the Governor urged special attention be given to practical development projects, as well as the establishment of both religious and modern schools, repairing transportation routes and constructing health clinics in various locations within the province.
In response, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, welcomed the Governor and expressed appreciation for the activities and efforts of the local authorities. He emphasized that ensuring security and peace for the people, resolving challenges and establishing social welfare are responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate and it will spare no efforts in this regard.
Concluding the discussion, the Deputy Prime Minister underscored the importance of the local officials’ efforts in providing services. He stated that the Islamic Emirate would consider the suggestions provided and take practical steps within the scope of available resources.
