On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the Director of the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), Mawlawi Naeemulhaq Haqqani Herati, along with the Deputy Director of GMIC, Mr. Hashmatullah Naseri, and the Head of the Media Relations Department, Mr. Mohammad Asif Ahmad Zoy conducted a visit to Salam Watandar Radio.
At the outset, the Deputy Director of GMIC, Mr. Hashmatullah Naseri, expressed his appreciation to the officials of Salam Watandar Radio for their cooperation and provided information about the purpose of the visit.
Furthermore, emphasizing the importance of media in today’s era, the Director of GMIC, Mawlawi Naeemulhaq Haqqani Herati, stated that the media plays a significant role by providing accurate information to the public, shaping public opinion and managing information. He also stressed that media outlets can effectively share the government’s achievements, helping to know the system’s achievements and build public trust.
Additionally, the Director expressed his appreciation for the activities of Salam Watandar Radio and emphasized the importance of strengthening access to information, improving communication and reflecting the government’s accomplishments through their channel.
In turn, the officials of Salam Watandar Radio warmly welcomed the leadership of GMIC, recognizing the GMIC’s crucial role in facilitating access to information. They also thanked GMIC for its coordination and promised to continue cooperating with GMIC and other government departments in the areas of technical and media publishing.
At the conclusion of the meeting, several other issues were discussed in depth and mutual cooperation was emphasized.
