The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi, and his accompanying delegation held a meeting with several Afghan traders, investors and residents in Termez, Uzbekistan. The meeting took place at the Islamic Emirate consulate, with the Deputy PM and his delegation present alongside the Islamic Emirate’s consul in Termez.
Expressing welcome to the Deputy PM, the Afghan traders and investors shared their suggestions and demands regarding the need for increased facilities in the field of commercial affairs between the two countries.
In response, the Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salaam Hanafi emphasized the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to providing necessary facilitation and support for businessmen and investors. He mentioned that the Islamic Emirate has already introduced many facilities for trading and investing, urging the traders to take advantage of this opportunity and invest in Afghanistan across various sectors.
During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation, with the presence of Surkhandarya province governor and provincial officials, also visited the border bazaar.
Additionally, during a meeting between the Islamic Emirate and Surkhandarya provincial officials, views were exchanged on various issues and an agreement was reached to strengthen and consolidate ties, particularly in the commercial sector between the two nations.
