The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir attended and delivered a speech at the people’s gathering, accompanied by the Acting Minister of Border and Tribal Affairs, Mawlawi Noorullah Noori. Numerous influential tribal elders, religious scholars, provincial civil and military officials, directors and professors from universities, Jihadi religious school teachers as well as teachers and principals from modern schools, also attended the gathering.
In his opening and welcome speech, the governor of Ghazni province stated that all the principles of the Islamic Emirate are being implemented with the cooperation of local people. He emphasized that with the coordination of local departments, there is wide support for the Islamic Emirate from the people.
Similarly, elders and religious scholars from various districts of Ghazni province called for the strengthening of the Islamic system as vital for Afghanistan’s future. They noted that the Islamic Emirate has made significant progress in the past three years and that the Afghan people support its stance. They also expressed satisfaction with the provision of local authorities and highlighted their demands regarding religious and modern schools, drinking water, and the execution of development projects in the province.
Moreover, the Acting Minister of Border and Tribal Affairs, Mawlawi Noorullah Noori, emphasized that the unity of the nation and support for the Islamic Emirate were key factors in the success of Jihad against the USA. He stated that the Islamic Emirate responsibly addresses all issues.
In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, expressed his contentment with his visit to Ghazni province. He stated that with the assurance of overall security and the sovereignty of the Islamic system in the country, the hopes of Jihad have been fulfilled and the Afghan people have fulfilled their responsibilities throughout history. He also mentioned that the Islamic Emirate has received support from many countries and seeks good relations with neighboring countries and beyond. He emphasized that the policy of the Islamic Emirate is independent and is pursuing a balanced policy.
In his concluding remarks, the Deputy PM stressed that by ensuring security, the Islamic Emirate is working towards prosperity of the country and assured the people of Ghazni that their suggestions would be reviewed.
