The Economic Affairs Office of the Deputy Prime Minister has announced that approximately 3 billion Afghanis have been saved in the implementation of projects approved by the National Procurement Commission.
According to the Office, the Commission has so far approved 317 projects, both large and small, with a total value of approximately 85 billion Afghanis.
The Ministry of Economy has reiterated that cost optimization in contracts, along with the execution of infrastructure projects, remains a key strategic priority for the Islamic Emirate.
The Chamber of Commerce and Investment has welcomed these cost-saving measures, emphasizing their positive impact on the country’s economic growth. The Economic Affairs Office further noted that these projects, some of which have been completed while others are underway, not only accelerate national development but also create hundreds of job opportunities. Moreover, they play a crucial role in strengthening the nation’s infrastructure and bolstering the broader economy.
