On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, during a press conference at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), the Technical, Vocational, Education and Training Authority (TVET-A) signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 20 domestic institutions, worth 180 thousand USD.
During the press conference, the Deputy of TVET-A, Mufti Fazal Rahman Fazil stated that the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority in partnership with international institutions, such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), has secured agreements with 25 national organizations (NGOs) valued at 2.5 million dollars to execute important development projects. He added that out of these, today MOUs will be signed with 20 domestic institutions, totaling 180 thousand USD to execute development projects.
The Deputy of TVET-A further mentioned that the projects aim to ensure food security for families and communities, provide job opportunities and improve nutrition for vulnerable groups in Bamyan, Dikondi, Kandahar, Helmand and Khost provinces. Moreover, he said that the projects will be executed under the supervision of the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority over the next 5 months.
