On the 2nd day of IEA Accountability Program, officials of the ministry of public works shared last year’s progress report.
According to the ministry: Reconstruction of 781 km has begun and implementation of 125 different projects kicked off, due to which 10,000 people have been provided with job opportunities.
Officials said: Reconstruction of 170 km Kabul-Kandahar highway, Salang road, Kandahar-Urozgan road and Urozgan-Dehrawood road begun.
Speaking at a press conference officials emphasized: Survey of over 527 km road and structure design of 209 km road has been completed.
