The Acting Minister of Interior, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, during his visit to Ghazni province met with local officials, scholars, tribal leaders, philanthropists and many young people and attended a meeting, says minister of interior.
The meeting was opened by Ghazni’s governor, Mohammad Amin Omari, who praised the ministry for its efforts and collaboration on behalf of the Ghazni people and described the H.E Haqqani’s visit to this province as a great honor.
He encouraged the residents of the aforementioned province to assist the returning citizens and gave information about the government’s efforts to provide Afghan refugees being forcibly deported from neighboring countries with temporary housing.
About justice and fairness in the nation, Sheikh Abdul Rahman, the chairman of the Court of the province of Ghazni, stated: “The Islamic Emirate is a system of justice, fairness, and transparency.” adding that these characteristics ensure the stability of the current system.
Syed Gul Mohammad Motamedi, the leader of the Shia citizens living in Ghazni, referring to the historical period of this province, said: Ghazni has been the center of Islamic civilization for thousands of years, the hometown of great personalities like Mahmud and Sanai Sahib, and its Islamic and historical values.
National leader Haji Muhammad Akram mentioned the sacrifices made by the people of Ghazni for the establishment of the Islamic system and assured full support and all kinds of cooperation for the stability of the current system and the development of the country.
On behalf of businessmen and industrialists, Sakhi Dad Faiq said: The main source of the success of the current system is the direct relationship with the people. Calling it necessary, he asked for the creation of necessary facilities in order to solve the problems.
In his speech to the public meeting, H.E Haqqani said: We have achieved the independence of Afghanistan as a nation with the blessings of the bravery of the Afghans, the holy will and courage of the youth. Every Afghan should contribute fully to the development of the country so that we can be grateful for the blessing of freedom and independence.
The reconstruction and resettlement work has been accelerated in the country, the war has changed to peace, and an independent and hereditary system has been established instead of arbitrary actions and chaos, he added.
According to Mr. Haqqani: Although the people and scholars of Pakistan treated the Afghans well during the two revolutions, the government’s recent decision to forcibly evacuate the Afghan refugees upset all parties, including the Afghans. This unfair decision and plan of the said country has faced many domestic and foreign criticisms and has no legal justification.
Khalifa Sahib also asked the businessmen, rich people and ordinary citizens to help the returning Afghan refugees and also to make them gentle and cheap in business affairs in addition to the establishment of shelter.
Mr. Haqqani insisted on gentle behavior, patience and brotherhood among Afghans, he asked the officials not to be influenced by power and to have good behavior and interaction with the people.
