Acting Minister of Interior Sirajuddin Haqqani met with a delegation of Turkish religious scholars in Kabul and considered their advice valuable for strengthening the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA).
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, Haqqani expressed his gratitude to Turkey, especially the Islamic scholars, for the construction of mosques, madrassas and schools in Afghanistan, as well as for helping Afghans in times of need.
Haqqani added that although it was difficult to perform the Islamic instructions and worship in some cases in the past, but at that time the scholars kept the candles of religion and invitation lit and gave the call to prayer.
He said that Afghanistan and Turkey are connected according to the Sharia, with the ropes of Islam and brotherhood.
Based on the statement, Sheikh Ibrahim Sardar, head of the Islamic delegation of Turkey, said that Turkey has long historical relations with Afghanistan and many common values. He appreciated the sacrifices of Afghans in the struggle for freedom and praised the achievements of the Islamic Emirate.
According to the members of the delegation, the creation of facilities after the hardships that the forces of the Islamic Emirate endured is a divine test and serving the country and the nation is a major responsibility during the governance period.
