Natalia Quintavalle, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Italian Embassy for Afghanistan, has announced efforts to expand the embassy’s activities in the country during a meeting with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Foreign Minister.
The Foreign Ministry has written in a statement that bilateral cooperation between the countries and the Islamic Emirate were also discussed in this meeting.
Meanwhile, the Administrative and Financial Deputy of the Foreign Ministry, in a meeting with the Chinese ambassador, called the relations between Kabul and Beijing significant and emphasized on expanding relations between the two countries. According to the Foreign Ministry, the Chinese ambassador in this meeting considered security and stability in the region in the interest of all regional countries including China. In addition, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Italian Embassy for Afghanistan met with Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Islamic Emirate’s deputy prime minister for administrative affairs, and discussed on implementing projects in health, water, and bilateral relations with Afghanistan.
