The Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) performs the following functions:
1, Coordination: GMIC coordinates with government entities to facilitate day-to-day operations, arrange important meetings and events, issue directives, gather information and prepare monthly reports.
2, Media Relation: GMIC establishes relations with the Afghan and foreign media with the aim of arranging press conferences and exclusive media interviews and facilitating journalists’ access to reliable and timely information.
3, Production: GMIC produces radio and television programs, records and archives films and photographs, and facilitates journalists’ access to raw material for media reporting.
4, Operation: GMIC provides necessary facilities to all its units to carry out their activities smoothly. We make sure we stick to the schedule and plan and provide the necessary services as and when needed.
