So far, 40 Military Posts and 4 Bases Have Been Captured, and Around 150 Pakistani Soldiers Have Been Killed
Today, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 during a press conference at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), the Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) and the Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense shared details about the offensive and retaliatory attacks carried out under the operation called Radd-ul-Zulm during the past 24 hours.
At the press conference, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense, Mr. Enayatullah Khwarazmi said that during the past 24 hours, along the Durand Line and in the provinces of Kandahar, Nangarhar, Kunar, Nuristan, Khost, Paktia and Paktika, large-scale and heavy offensive and retaliatory attacks were carried out by the country’s defense forces. According to Khwarazmi, during these clashes, 13 enemy military posts were heavily attacked by the Mujahideen forces and were captured.
Mr. Enayatullah Khwarazmi further added that in the area of the 205 Al-Badr Corps, as a result of the Mujahideen’s offensive attacks, 10 Pakistani military posts were captured, and in the area of the 203 Mansouri Corps, 3 Pakistani military posts were seized. He said that during the past 24 hours, three unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) were shot down in the provinces of Nangarhar, Parwan and Logar. In addition, two reconnaissance drones belonging to the Pakistani military were also brought down by the country’s defense forces. He also added that during these attacks, 3 Mujahideen were martyred and 7 others were wounded.
Furthermore, the Deputy Spokesperson of the IEA, Mr. Hamdullah Fitrat said that over the past few days, Pakistani military forces have repeatedly violated Afghanistan’s airspace and have targeted residential areas, public facilities, mosques, religious schools, and camps of returning refugees in the provinces of Kabul, Laghman, Nangarhar, Kunar, Khost, Paktika and Kandahar.
Mr. Fitrat added that according to available statistics, as a result of Pakistani military air and ground attacks, 110 civilians, including 65 women have been killed, and 123 others mostly women and children have been injured. He further stated that the Pakistani military attacks have caused heavy financial losses to ordinary people. As a result, 37 houses have been completely destroyed and 316 houses have been partially damaged. In addition, 12 shops, 19 mosques, one clinic and one religious school have been destroyed.
The Deputy Spokesperson of the IEA also said that due to these violent attacks, so far 8400 families have been displaced from their homes.
According to the Ministry of National Defense, since the beginning of Operation Radd-ul-Zulm, a total of 40 Pakistani military posts and 4 bases have been captured by Afghan defense forces, around 150 Pakistani soldiers have been killed, and more than 200 others have been wounded.
