The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held on June 9, 2026, at the Marmarin Palace. During the meeting, the proposal for the construction of a commercial market on municipality land in Sheberghan City, the capital of Jawzjan
Province, was presented for discussion.
 
Following a comprehensive assessment of all aspects of the project, the proposal was deemed eligible for approval.
 
According to the proposal, the private sector will invest approximately AFN 23 million to
construct a three-story commercial market comprising 54 shops.
 
The meeting also discussed a proposal for the construction of a residential and commercial market on municipality land located near Darulaman Road in the Seventh District of Kabul City.
 
Following deliberations, the proposal was referred to the relevant authorities for technical and financial evaluation.
 
 These authorities have been tasked with completing their assessment and submitting a report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified timeframe
