Deputy Prime Minister Delivers Address at Graduation Ceremony of 3,500 Students from Kabul Technical and Vocational Institute
Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, attended and delivered a speech at the graduation ceremony of 3,500 students of the Technical and Vocational Education Institute.
At the outset, the Deputy PM expressed his appreciation for this grand event and all graduating students, their families, instructors, and the leadership of the Technical and Vocational Education Authority. He expressed hope that these young graduates would play their valuable role in safeguarding and strengthening the Islamic system, as well as in the progress and development of the country.
Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated that after half a century of imposed wars, military struggles, and immense sacrifices in our beloved homeland, security and stability have been restored, and disorder and chaos have been completely eliminated. He emphasized that the Afghan nation is now united, standing in a single cohesive line under an Islamic system, moving forward toward development and growth.
The Deputy Prime Minister clarified that the Islamic Emirate is fully committed to the reconstruction of the country. “Just as we liberated Afghanistan from occupation, we will rebuild it in the same manner. We came for the freedom and reconstruction of the country, and we firmly believe that no foreign entity can rebuild this nation better than the Afghans themselves,” he added.
He pointed out that the war had devastated the country’s infrastructure, and that during twenty years of occupation, no fundamental work was carried out. However, with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, security has been ensured, and development projects are progressing rapidly at various levels. Significant steps have also been taken in advancing agriculture, technology, and the educational and health systems.
In conclusion, the Deputy Prime Minister assured that the necessary facilities for gaining knowledge and practical skills are being provided to the youth. He noted that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate is striving to ensure that the young generation is equipped with knowledge and becomes capable of delivering valuable services to the Islamic system, the nation, and the country.
