Director of GMIC Visits Sabawoon Radio and Khama Press News Agency

Mawlavi Naeemulhaq Haqqani, Director of the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) conducted an official visit to the offices of Sabawoon Radio and Khama Press News Agency.
At the outset, Mr. Haqqani commended the active participation of these media outlets in press conferences and related events. He emphasized that GMIC serves as a hub for media representatives and spokespersons, and he expressed gratitude for their ongoing collaboration.
Mr. Haqqani highlighted that over the past four years, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has implemented major projects and achieved notable successes; however, these accomplishments have not always been fully communicated to the public. He stressed that enhanced cooperation between government entities and media outlets is essential to ensure accurate and comprehensive coverage, allowing the public to remain informed about government activities.
Furthermore, Mr. Mirwais Pasoon, Head of Sabawoon Radio, and Mr. Mansoor Nekmal, Head of Khama Press News Agency, provided detailed updates on their media activities and welcomed GMIC’s leadership. They praised the visit as an important step in improving communication, coordination, and problem-solving between media and government institutions.
Both representatives reaffirmed their commitment to promoting Islamic and national values in all media activities and highlighted certain challenges related to access to information, requesting GMIC’s support in addressing them.
