Ministry of Education Launches Recruitment Process for 1060 New Positions

Today, on Sunday, May 10, 2026 during a press conference at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), the Deputy Minister of Education provided comprehensive information on the recruitment process for 1060 new positions.

During the press conference, the Deputy Minister of Education, Alhaj Mawlawi Abdul Khaliq Sadiq stated that based on the guidance of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate as well as the long-term goals of the Ministry, the recruitment process for 1060 positions through open competition has officially kicked off nationwide.

He further stated that these positions have been approved for all districts and educational zones across the country, taking into consideration organizational needs, population, geographical conditions and educational development. He added that these positions have been included in the Ministry’s 1405 organizational structure as a result of the Ministry’s continuous efforts and the special attention of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate toward strengthening human resources in educational institutions, filling administrative vacancies and expanding standard educational services.

Mawlawi Sadiq added that the Ministry has implemented various reform and development programs in recent years to provide standard, fair and high-quality educational services. Some of the major initiatives include conducting standardized examinations, establishing model high schools, creating specialized streams at the high school level, preparing a unified curriculum up to sixth grade, introducing a new domain system for graduation certificates and organizing capacity-building training programs.

According to him, the Ministry has given special attention to educational opportunities for returning citizens and is working to standardize the country’s education system, improve the quality of education and strengthen students’ academic abilities.

Moreover, the Deputy Minister of Education described recruitment through open competition as an important principle for strengthening transparency, accountability and good governance. He underscored that the opportunities for hiring qualified staff in educational institutions across the country will be provided based on competence, expertise and professionalism. He also called on all qualified, professional and educated citizens to participate in the open competition process for these positions and to play their role in strengthening the country’s education system and properly educating the future generation.
