Afghanistan Exported Dry Fruits Worth 518 Million USD in the Past 10 Months

The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment has reported that Afghanistan exported dry fruits worth 518 million U.S. dollars to various countries in the past ten months. According to officials from the Chamber, the majority of these exports consisted of black pine nuts, a substantial portion of which was directed to China, along with other destinations.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce disclosed that, in the previous year, the volume of black pine nut exports reached 970 tons, valued at 12 million dollars. Ministry officials emphasized that most of these exports were directed toward neighboring and regional countries.

It is noteworthy that the primary export commodities of Afghanistan include minerals, cotton, medicinal plants, both dried and fresh fruits, carpets, and saffron. #
