Deputy PM Meets with Scholars and Community Elders of Badakhshan Province

Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, held meetings with scholars and community elders of Badakhshan Province.

These discussions were conducted separately with provincial scholars, elders, local officials, prominent community figures, and senior elders from Pamir Kalan and Pamir Khurd districts. During the meetings, participants provided detailed briefings on the social, economic, and security situation in the province.

They commended the efforts of local officials in maintaining security, ensuring public stability, and addressing the needs of the people. They also highlighted several community priorities, including the construction of roads and health clinics, establishment of schools, and extension of electricity services, requesting focused attention on these matters.

In response, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed his appreciation for the engagement and acknowledged the contributions of Badakhshan’s scholars and elders in educating the public, strengthening the Islamic system, and supporting local officials in resolving community issues.

The Deputy PM emphasized the importance of ethical conduct and sincere execution of duties by local officials and encouraged them to intensify efforts in identifying community challenges and promoting social welfare.

Addressing the proposals raised during the meetings, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi affirmed that the Islamic Emirate, within the scope of available resources, would take the necessary measures to address the highlighted priorities.
