Mujahid: Security Situation Remains Stable Across Afghanistan

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, during a press conference at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) provided a series of clarifications and observations concerning the security of all official borders and the notional demarcation line.
During the press conference, the IEA’s spokesperson, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the situation across all of Afghanistan’s official borders and along the notional demarcation line remains fully under control. Illegal activities have been largely curtailed. The Ministry of National Defense of the IEA continues to employ all available resources to further strengthen operational oversight and protection of these areas. Recently, the Ministry has undertaken a number of measures in pursuit of these objectives.
He added that the security situation throughout Afghanistan is stable, no major political or security incidents have occurred over the past eight months, and previous attacks from neighboring countries have been decisively neutralized.
Mawlawi Mujahid called on the citizens not to be influenced by the propaganda of malicious circles and assured them that Afghanistan maintains good relations with regional and international countries in light of Islamic Sharia, the supreme interests of the people, and national interests. He emphasized that there is now a growing understanding that Afghanistan’s security and stability are vital for the security and stability of the region and the world. Additionally, he stated that a particular group in the neighboring country having influence within the Pakistani military is displeased with Afghanistan’s improved security and development, conspiring against Afghans and spreading propaganda and negative portrayals of the Islamic Emirate and Afghanistan on international platforms.
Mawlawi Mujahid further stated that according to the precise intelligence, in February 2025, around 30 Daesh insurgents were killed in an attack on hideouts in in the Mastung area of Balochistan. Among those killed were several foreign nationals, including individuals holding European passports. Reports suggest that these European nationals were trained there and later sent abroad to carry out attacks, and these groups remain active in the same centers. Furthermore, he stated that some key leaders of Daesh Khorasan are currently present and hiding in Pakistani territory. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly demands that these individuals either be handed over to the Islamic Emirate or expelled by the Pakistani government from its soil.
In conclusion, the IEA’s Spokesperson, Mawlawi Mujahid warned that if Pakistan does not cease its negative behavior and violations of Afghanistan’s sovereignty, such actions will naturally lead to negative and undesirable consequences.
