GMIC Leadership Visits Hurriyat, Spogmai & Saar Radios
On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the director of the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), Mawlawi Naeemulhaq Haqqani Herati, along with his accompanying delegation, visited Hurriyat, Spogmai and Saar radio separately.
At the outset, the deputy director of GMIC, Mr. Hashmatullah Naseri explained the purpose of the visit and expressed gratitude for the media’s continuous cooperation in reflecting the achievements and activities of the Emirati institutions. He also emphasized the need for further collaboration between the media and Emirati entities.
Then, the director of GMIC, Mawlawi Naeemulhaq Haqqani Herati highlighted the importance of media in today’s era, stating that by sharing and publishing accurate and precise information, the media plays a vital role in informing and guiding public opinion. He added that the media can effectively convey the achievements of the system to the public, enabling people to become aware of the government’s activities and accomplishments, which can help increase public trust in the system.
In response, the officials of Hurriyat, Spogmai and Saar radio warmly welcomed the GMIC leadership, appreciated the visit and regarded it as a significant step toward ensuring transparency and the timely sharing of information. Additionally, they pointed out some existing challenges regarding access to information and urged the GMIC leadership to provide cooperation and assistance in resolving them.
At the conclusion, both sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations and engagement.
