GMIC’s Director Meets 1TV’s In-Charge

Today, 25 February 2026, the Director of the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), Mawlawi Naeemulhaq Haqqani met with 1TV’s in-charge, Mr. Sangar Hashimi.


At the outset, the Director of GMIC while welcoming the 1TV’s in-charge, appreciated the TV’s cooperation in reflecting the activities and achievements of government institutions, as well as raising public awareness about their performance. He said that the more cooperation and coordination between the media and government institutions, the faster and more effective the process of sharing information will be, resulting in increased public understanding of government activities and policies, reducing negative propaganda, and strengthening the atmosphere of trust between the government and the people.

In response, Mr. Sangar Hashimi described the GMIC’s efforts in providing access to information and related areas as important and effective, and urged further cooperation in this regard. He underscored that 1TV within the framework of professional standards and national responsibility, will continue to strengthen its efforts to reflect the activities and achievements of government institutions.

At the conclusion, both sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations and engagement.
