H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, met with a number of professional development staff from the Ministry of Education, along with respected religious scholars engaged in professional development activities.

 

During the meeting, the professional development staff of the Ministry of Education briefed participants on their activities, programs, and achievements in the areas of teacher capacity-building and oversight of teaching affairs.

They also pointed out certain challenges in implementing educational programs and called for greater cooperation to address these issues. H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, after hearing the reports and suggestions, emphasized that teachers’ professional development is a key pillar in improving the country’s education system.

He underscored that investing in the professional growth of teachers is essential to raising a capable future generation and fostering societal development.

In his closing remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to strengthening the education sector and supporting effective initiatives to improve the quality of education.
