Discussion Held on the Construction Plan of a Ten-Storey Building for a Private Medical University and Teaching Hospital in Kabul

The meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held on May 5, 2026,  at the Marmarin Palace.

During the meeting, the plan for constructing a ten-storey building for Bayazid Rokhan Private Medical University and Teaching Hospital, located in the 9th district of Kabul city, was presented for discussion.
In the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance and necessity of this project, and the relevant authorities were tasked to comprehensively assess the proposal and submit their report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified timeframe.
Additionally, the meeting discussed plans for the construction of a commercial market on municipality land in the 1st district of Jalalabad city, Nangarhar province, and the construction of a cafeteria and shops in Shiberghan city, the capital of Jawzjan province. Following the discussions, these proposals were referred to the relevant authorities, which were assigned to conduct technical, financial, and economic analyses in line with the committee’s observations and submit their reports to the committee within the specified deadlines.
